After a successful start in 2012, the second BERLIN ART WEEK will take place this year from 17–22 September 2013. With an exciting and richly varied program of outstanding exhibitions, openings, events, and numerous special projects at the ten participating institutions and the art fairs abc – art berlin contemporary and PREVIEW Berlin Art Fair, BERLIN ART WEEK in 2013 will present the whole range of Berlin art and promises to become the art event of the fall. A highlight of Berlin Art Week 2013 is Painting Forever! a collaboration of Berlinische Galerie, Deutsche Bank KunstHalle, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, and Nationalgalerie – Staatliche Museen zu Berlin examining the subject of contemporary painting in Berlin.
