stay hungry and NON Berlin, two project spaces and initiatives without fixed locations, winners of this year’s award, present multimedia installations and performative formats.

stay hungry presents a site-specific project by the artist duo Pätzug / Hertweck in the focus of which the focus is placed on the playful unsettling of everyday spatial experience. They placed on central points of contact between anthropological, architectural, and geometric spaces, mechanically animated sculptural elements that inspire visitors to perceive and question habits and spaces.

NON Berlin shows works by the artists Chan Sook Choi (multimedia installations), Xiaowen Zhu (video and installation) and Sumi Jang (Performance) that explore hidden histories of migrants. In personal conversations and at important locations, they reveal social and political inscriptions that still operate today.
