me Collectors Room Berlin / Stiftung Olbricht

me Collectors Room is an exhibition space for private art collections in Berlin-Mitte. The institution is entered through a café with an atrium with a high ceiling, flooded with light. The design and furnishings attest to the collector’s passion for the rare, exquisite, and special. Since its opening in 2010, on a regular basis private collectors from around the world have been invited to present highlights from their collections, otherwise not accessible to the public. In addition, curated insights are provided into the Olbricht Collection, one of the most outstanding international private art collections. A very special highlight of the institution is the permanently installed Wunderkammer Olbricht, a private collection with over 300 precious curiosities from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, one of the most important of its kind around the world.
