The neue Gesellschaft für bildende Kunst (nGbK) will be participating in Berlin Art Week 2018 with two projects: On the one hand with the exhibition and event project "TOUCH", which will deal discursively and processually with touch as a paradigmatic gesture of the present. On the other hand, the nGbK will go into the urban space to present the poster exhibition "Making Political Poster 1. 60 Years of Art in the Underground" on the U5 platform at Alexanderplatz.
But first of all, the nGbK group exhibition "LUCKY" opens tonight. Happiness, queerness, futurism and feminism - these are the key words that are the focus of this show. "LUCKY" questions the role of happiness as a cultural myth that explains and normalizes social privileges. The exhibition is accompanied by performances, panel discussions and workshops. "LUCKY" is on view until September 2, 2018.
Opening "LUCKY", 6 JUL 2018, 7 pm.
