19th of August marks the date again: Berlin’s Long Nights of Museums enters a new round with 80 museums and 800 events. For the 20th anniversary of the event, which’s concept has been adopted all around the world, Berlin’s Long Night shows itself in a special jubilee edition with the motto “made in Berlin.” These Berlin Art Week partners will be part of the event: Akademie der Künste with the exhibition „Käthe-Kollwitzpreis 2017. Katharina Sieverding“. Berlinische Galerie presents different guided tours, running under the jubilee motto „made in berlin“. Additionally, Dr. Stefanie Heckmann, director of the collection Bildende Kunst, guides through the current John Bock exhibition „Im Moloch der Wesenspräsenz“. C/O Berlin offers a guided tour on the particular history of the Amerika Haus and the exhibition venue itself. Haus am Lützowplatz offers artist talks and lectures as part of the current exhibition „Transaktionen. Über den Wert künstlerischer Arbeit“ as well as a craft beer tasting.
