CCA Berlin invites you to an extended drum set performance by Ludwig Wandinger in the context of Lukas Luzius Leichtle’s solo exhibition on 12 SEP 2025 at 8pm.
During the concert, the audience is invited to move freely through the exhibition space, experiencing the shifting intensities of sound in relation to Leichtle’s paintings. This interplay between the sonic and the visual emphasizes both the sculptural presence of the drum kit and the painterly gestures on view. The instrument itself will be on display prior to the performance during the exhibition’s opening hours that day.
Ludwig Wandinger is a Berlin-based artist whose work moves fluidly between sound and visual art. His releases include albums on Orange Milk, Caterina Barbieri’s Light Years, and Creamcake, with further contributions on labels such as PAN, Subtext, and Unguarded. He has collaborated with artists including Elvin Brandhi, Evita Manji, Sara Persico, and Grischa Lichtenberger, and performed for institutions such as Monheim Triennale, Jazzfest Berlin, and the Neue Nationalgalerie.
